A Ph.D. in Intercessory Prayer Research?

October 9, 2004

The New York Times does a good job today talking about the pros and cons of studying the effects of intercessory prayer on healthy. Specifically, they are reacting to a study that showed that women who wanted to get pregnant , were twice as likely to be in the “family way” as those who did not receive prayer.

The government is actually spending money to study this. I would gladly pay taxes for that, wouldn’t you? (Not that I have a choice, either biblically or legally whether to pay taxes, but it beats hearing about the government spending $100 on a hammer for the military).
